There is no “Scouting” without “outing” Lord Baden-Powell started scouting to provide young men experiences in the outdoors. To help them learn the skills that they would need to survive. To help them gain confidence and self assurance and to build leaders. Whether it is raining, snowing, or sunshine outings can be fun. But, only if we prepare. As we prepare for our upcoming trip remember that you as individuals and you as patrols need to prepare for what is planned and what is not planned. “When we fail to plan, we plan for failure”.
